A listing stores the name and the link you chose, the amount, and the time. That is the point of the service: it is published and it is meant to be seen.

An anonymous backing stores no name and no link at all, and cannot be traced back to a person by us or by anybody else.

Card details never touch Dexbid. Payment is handled by a payment provider, and what comes back to us is a confirmation: an order reference, an amount and a currency.

We keep that confirmation permanently, because it is the record that the board adds up to what was actually paid.

The three counters at the top of the board are measured from real page loads. No third-party analytics service is used.

No cookies are set for this, and no IP addresses are stored. A visitor is recorded as a one-way hash of a daily secret, your IP address and your browser’s user agent. The secret changes every day, so today’s hash cannot be matched against yesterday’s and nobody can be followed from one day to the next, including us.

If you contact us, we keep your message and your email address for as long as it takes to deal with it and to show what was done. It is used to reply to you and for nothing else.

You can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for a listing carrying your name to be taken down. Write to [email].

Because there are no accounts, anybody can type any handle onto the board. If that has happened to you, tell us and we will remove it.

The data controller is [legal name], [tax ID], [address]. Data is stored on servers inside the European Union.
